| Shell's Middle East Country Chairmen meet in Dubai |

| Dubai Quality Group and Shell launch Emirates Businesswomen Award 2003 |
 Dubai Quality Group (DQG) and Shell launched the Emirates Businesswomen Award Scheme 2003 at a Press Conference held in Dubai on 4th November. The Scheme is aimed at publicly acknowledging and rewarding the work that is being carried out by businesswomen in the UAE today by identifying and recognising outstanding business prowess.

THE ROYAL Dutch/Shell Group of Companies held its latest meeting for Shell Country Chairmen in the Middle East at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Dubai on 17th and 18th September. The meeting was hosted by Jeroen van der Veer, President of Royal Dutch Petroleum and Vice-Chairman of the Committee of Managing Directors of the Royal Dutch/Shell Group of Companies, who also has overall responsibility for Shell's business activities in the Middle East.
