 Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) and Shell EP International Limited (Shell) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in December 2005, establishing a strategic alliance to cooperate on business opportunities relating to CO2 capture and recovery in the Middle East region.  |

 The Shell Lubricants MECAS (Middle East & Central Asian States) Annual Sales Conference was held on 15th & 16th of January in Rome, Italy. The event was an unforgettable experience for the participants. As Ravi Muthuswamy, Finance Director said: "It was a fantastic, superbly organized function – we really enjoyed it".

| UAE SUCCESS AT THE 1ST REGIONAL INTILAAQAH AWARDS |
 Shell Abu Dhabi was very pleased to see two of the Intilaaqah Abu Dhabi graduates achieve first place in two of the awards at the 1st Regional Intilaaqah Awards held in Muscat in December. Huda Al Matroushi won first place in the 'Business Success or Significant Progress' category.
