GOOD SPORTS - Shell flag flying over Everest

Adrian holding Shell flag on top of Mt EverestAdrian Hayes, the Shell-sponsored Dubai-based Everest climber, reached the summit of Everest in May. Adrian was twice runner up in the annual race up the Emirates Towers.

Not surprisingly, the Everest experience proved infinitely more difficult. “It’s probably the hardest thing I’ve ever done,” he says.

Visiting the Shell chalet was a good opportunity for networking and building on good relationships with business partners. The company also set up an exhibition area which enabled Shell to showcase its products.
